Noonan syndrome is a common autosomal dominant condition caused by multiple genes in the RasMAPK pathway. The adult phenotype can be extremely subtle, and many adults are diagnosed only after the birth of a more obviously affected child. Whether diagnosis is made in childhood or adulthood, initial and ongoing evaluation of many systems can have considerable health benefits.

A magnetically recoverable chiral rhodium catalyst exhibited excellent catalytic activity and enantioselectivity in asymmetric transfer hydrogenation of aromatic ketones in aqueous medium, which could be recovered easily via a small magnet and used repetitively ten times without obviously affecting its enantioselectivity.

We present an approach for 3D reconstruction of objects from a single image. Obviously, constraints on the 3D structure are needed to perform this task. Our approach is based on user-provided coplanarity, perpendicularity and parallelism constraints. These are used to calibrate the image and perform 3D reconstruction. The method is described in detail and results are provided.

This paper reviews the efficacy of six different methods of removal of foreign bodies from the nose. Removal with a Fogarty catheter, the Ambu Bag method, nebulised adrenaline, tissue adhesive, forceps and direct suction are considered. No method appears to be obviously superior to any other.

The values of quark condensate and tensor susceptibility of QCD vacuum are calculated with different number of flavors. It is shown that, the values of tensor susceptibility are obviously dependent on the flavor numbers while the flavor-number dependence of quark condensate is undetermined. An asymmetrical photochromic diarylethene 1-(2cyano-1,5-dimethyl-4-pyrryl)-2-{(2-methyl-4hydroxymethylphe -nyl)-3-thienyl}perfluorocyclopentene (1o) was synthesized and its photochromic properties as well as reaction kinetics were investigated in detail.
