Stereolithography that uses a femtosecond laser was employed as a method for multiphoton-sensitized polymerization. We studied the stereolithography method, which produces duplicate solid shapes corresponding to the trajectory of the laser focus point and can be used to build a three-dimensional (3D) structure using a conductive polymer. To achieve this, we first considered a suitable polymeriz...
Graphene has shown great potential as an electrode material for organic electronic devices such as organic field-effect transistors (FETs) because of its high conductivity, thinness, and good compatibility with organic semiconductor materials. To achieve high performance in graphene-based organic FETs, favorable molecular orientation and good crystallinity of organic semiconductors on graphene ...
Identification of solvents for dissolving polymer dielectrics and organic semiconductors is necessary for the fabrication of solution-processed organic field effect transistors (OFETs). In addition to solubility and printability of a solvent, orthogonality is particularly important when forming multilayer structure from solutions. Currently, the process of finding orthogonal solvents is empiric...
Construction of porous organic polymers (POPs) as metal-free heterogeneous organic photocatalysts for highly efficient catalytic organic transformations using visible light remains a key challenge. Herein, we report the “bottom-up” strategy to facilely synthesize two Eosin Y dye-based POP frameworks (EY-POPs) for highly efficient heterogeneous organic-photocatalysis. Owing to the high BET surfa...
Elastrco-vrscous fluids, m particular the model characterrzed by Walters [l] (hqmd B’), exhibit a close resemblance to real fluids hke olls and certam hrgh polymer solutrons One of the important aspects of any fluid 1s the behavror of its unsteady boundary layers A large number of papers concernmg the time-dependent flows of elastrco-viscous hqmd B' have appeared m the literature, for example, ...
Abstract. Recently it was shown that the introduction of stiffness into the model of self-interacting partially directed walks modifies the polymer collapse transition seen from a second-order to a first-order one. Here we consider the effect of stiffness on the adsorption transition. We provide the exact generating function for non-interacting semi-flexible partially directed walks and analyse...
We consider dilute non-adsorbed polymers grafted at an impenetrable surface and compute several quantities which characterize the polymer shape: the asphericity and the ratios of the eigenvalues of the radius-of-gyration tensor. The results are only slightly different from those obtained for polymers in the bulk, showing that the surface has little influence on the polymer shape.
