introduction: somatostatin receptors expressed on a wide range of human tumors, are potential targets for the peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (prrt). in this study, 177lu-[dota-dphe1, tyr3]octreotide (177lu-dotatoc) as an agent for prrt was prepared and its biodistribution was studied in rats. methods:the best condition for the preparation of the 177lu-dotatoc radiolabeled complex was det...

introduction: radioimmunotherapy (rit) is a very promising new therapy for the treatment of recurrent b-cell non-hodgkin's lymphoma (nhl). iodine-131 is the most frequently used nuclide in clinical rit, but its usefulness has been limited by dehalogenation of monoclonal antibodies labeled via conventional methods. to circumvent this problem, we have synthesized a tri-peptide consisting of non-m...

UNLABELLED A novel, facile procedure for efficient coupling of high doses of (131)I to monoclonal antibodies (MAbs) was developed with minimal chemical and radiation damage. METHODS To diminish the radiation and chemical burden during labeling, iodination was performed in a large reaction volume and by temporarily coating the MAb with a minimal amount of IODO-GEN. The MAb was coated by inject...

Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine discrepancies in the standard method for determining the radiochemical purity (RCP) of mTc-exametazime. The package insert for mrc-exametazime indicates that the entire RCP testing procedure requires approximately 15 min to complete, although the solvent-developing time for the three-paper chromatography system is described to be s 1 00 sec. A...

Backgrounds: Bleomycin (BLM) has been labeled with radioisotopes and widely used in therapy and diagnosis. In this study BLM was labeled with [62Zn] zinc chloride for oncologic PET studies. Materials and methods: The complex was obtained at the pH=2 in normal saline at 90 ° C in 60 min. Radio-TLC showed an overall radiochemical yield of 95-97% (radiochemical purity > 97%). Stability of complex ...

Amylase in solution is inactivated by the radiations from a mercury arc in quartz, in a manner similar to that previously reported for pepsin. The reaction was followed to a point where more than 88 per cent change had taken place, the course being that of mono-molecular radiochemical change. Apparently, this reaction is due to the influence of ultra-violet radiation alone.

Nucleophilic 18F-fluorination of bromodifluoromethyl derivatives was performed using [18F]Bu4NF in the presence of DBU (1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec-7-ene). This novel procedure provided a diverse set of [18F]trifluoroacetamides in good to excellent radiochemical conversions. A mechanism where DBU acts as organomediator in this transformation is proposed.
