A locally recoverable code is a code over a finite alphabet such that the value of any single coordinate of a codeword can be recovered from the values of a small subset of other coordinates. Building on work of Barg, Tamo, and Vlăduţ, we present several constructions of locally recoverable codes from algebraic curves and surfaces.

is the Maxwell relaxation time [24]. This relaxation time is a convenient approximation to the timescale of deformation where the transition from purely viscous behavior to purely elastic behavior occurs. The purely viscous response of a silicate melt is termed “liquid” behavior whereas the purely elastic response is termed “glassy” behavior. The term silicate melt is used to describe molten si...

Employing remanufactured and refurbished products are among the new strategies that companies used to raise their profits as well as protects environment. Although used product equipment gives an opportunity to purchase latest technology, customers are doubtful about quality and reliability of these products. Because of limitation that developing countries faces in buying new products, some cou...

In wireless sensor networks, the node faults often occurred in scenes because of severe disturbance, harsh environment and inherent weakness of the networks. In this paper, a fault tolerance directed diffusion protocol, termed fault-tolerant algorithm with recoverable nodes (FTA-RN), is proposed to extend the lifetime of the wireless sensor network based on recoverable host nodes, in which a he...

I this study, we investigate the effects of recovery yield rate on pricing decisions in reverse supply chains. Motivated by the automotive parts remanufacturing industry, we consider an end-of-life product from which a particular part can be recovered and remanufactured for reuse, and the remainder of the product can be recycled for material recovery. Both the supply of end-of-life products and...

As awareness of environmental issues increases, the pressures from the public and policy makers have forced original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to consider remanufacturing as the key product design option. In order to make the remanufacturing operations more profitable, forecasting product returns is critical due to the uncertainty in quantity and timing. This paper proposes a predictive mo...

Remanufacturing is a domain that has increasingly been exploited during recent years due to its numerous advantages and the increasing need for society promote circular economy leading sustainability. one of main end-of-life (EoL) options can lead economy. There therefore strong prioritize this option over other available at stage product because it only recovery maintains same quality as new p...
