ポットカーネーションへのLED照射および暖房温度が開花および生育に及ぼす影響を検討した.‘シャンテリー’,‘クレア’ および ‘グランルージュ’ の3品種において,暖房温度12°C条件下での赤色LED(620 nmから630 nm)と遠赤色LED(730 nmから740 nm)の終夜照射を比較すると,いずれのLED照射にも開花促進効果が認められ,遠赤色LEDで最も早く,赤色LEDはそれよりもやや劣った.一方で,遠赤色LED照射によって草丈が伸長したが,赤色LEDでは無処理との差は小さかった.また,赤色LEDを終夜照射した24時間日長の条件では,日長延長で16時間日長とした場合よりも第一花開花日が早まる傾向が ‘シャンテリー’ のみで認められた.上記3品種において,暖房温度(9°Cおよび12°C)と赤色LED終夜照射の有無の組み合わせでは,赤色LED終夜照射は暖房温度に関わらず開花を早...
