Background & Aims of the Study: Today, in many sensitive occupational environments, human error can lead to catastrophic events. Given that the sensitive task of a control area operator, which in the occurrence of malfunction or failure leads to irreparable events, it is important to predict human errors to reduce its adverse consequences. Therefore, the present study was perform by aiming to ...
Here is suggested a solution to the accommodationvergence mismatch problem in 3D stereoscopic displays. It can be achieved by compensating the mismatched focal length with refractive power of adjustable-focus 3D glasses. The compensation would make vergence of human eyes match with position of virtual stereoscopic motion pictures, reducing visual fatigue.
3,4-Dihydroxycinnamic acid (3,4-DA) is a natural compound with high antioxidant potential found in various foods. This study found that animals administered with 3,4-DA had higher exercise tolerance, reduced blood lactate, and markers of hepatic oxidation. Blood glucose and antioxidant enzymes were not affected by this treatment. 3,4-DA may have applicability in reducing the fatigue associated ...
BACKGROUND: Many occupations require workers to stand for prolonged periods, which can cause discomfort, pain and even injures. Some supermarkets in life provide a foot pad checkout staff let them on it at work, thereby reducing standing fatigue caused by long time. The inclined platform is the same as mentioned above. That is, stepped relieved certain extent. OBJECTIVE: study aims analyze how ...
INTRODUCTION Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) fatigue is distressing, leading to unmanageable physical and cognitive exhaustion impacting on health, leisure and work. Group cognitive-behavioural (CB) therapy delivered by a clinical psychologist demonstrated large improvements in fatigue impact. However, few rheumatology teams include a clinical psychologist, therefore, this study aims to examine wheth...
One objective of this study was to document how individual FDB muscle fibers depend on the myoprotection of KATP channels during fatigue. Verapamil, a CaV1.1 channel blocker, prevents large increases in unstimulated force during fatigue in KATP-channel-deficient muscles. A second objective was to determine if verapamil reduces unstimulated [Ca(2+)]i in KATP-channel-deficient fibers. We measured...
BACKGROUND One of the common side effects of cancer is fatigue that affects patients' life quality and leads to disability. Exercise has an important role in improving these patients' life quality and can be used as a complementary treatment. Moreover, there are few studies on the impact of exercise on fatigue among patients with colon cancer. Therefore, the present study investigated the effec...
