In this paper, we discuss the algorithms used in the LO evolution program for nondiagonal parton distributions in the DGLAP region and discuss the stability of the code. Furthermore, we demonstrate that we can reproduce the case of the LO diagonal evolution within less than 0.5% of the original code as developed by the CTEQ-collaboration.

We generalize the Allais common consequence effect by describing three common consequence effect conditions and characterizing their implications for the probability weighting function in rank-dependent expected utility. The three conditions—horizontal, vertical, and diagonal shifts within the probability triangle—are necessary and sufficient for different curvature properties of the probabilit...

In this paper, we discuss the algorithms used in the LO evolution program for nondiagonal parton distributions in the DGLAP region and discuss the stability of the code. Furthermore, we demonstrate that we can reproduce the case of the LO diagonal evolution within 1% of the original code as developed by the CTEQ-collaboration. PACS: 12.38.Bx, 13.85.Fb, 13.85.Ni

Here, we present determinants of some square matrices of field elements. First, the determinat of 2 ∗ 2 matrix is shown. Secondly, the determinants of zero matrix and unit matrix are shown, which are equal to 0 in the field and 1 in the field respectively. Thirdly, the determinant of diagonal matrix is shown, which is a product of all diagonal elements of the matrix. At the end, we prove that t...

We construct and solve the boundary Yang-Baxter equation in the RSOS/SOS representation. We find two classes of trigonometric solutions; diagonal and nondiagonal. As a lattice model, these two classes of solutions correspond to RSOS/SOS models with fixed and free boundary spins respectively. Applied to (1+1)-dimenional quantum field theory, these solutions give the boundary scattering amplitude...

This paper empirically investigates the relationship between CPI inflation uncertainty, and private investment in the Iranian economy from 1988 to 2010 by using quarterly data. We employ a bivariate VAR(5)-GARCH(1,1)-in-mean with diagonal BEKK model to discover in a unified framework how are the interactions between the variables. In the model, conditional variance of inflation and private inve...

Invariant human TCR Valpha24-Jalpha18+/Vbeta11+ NKT cells (iNKT) are restricted by CD1d-alpha-glycosylceramides. We analyzed crystal structures and binding characteristics for an iNKT TCR plus two CD1d-alpha-GalCer-specific Vbeta11+ TCRs that use different TCR Valpha chains. The results were similar to those previously reported for MHC-peptide-specific TCRs, illustrating the versatility of the ...

Let M be a complex matrix of rank one, i.e. M = pq′ where p, q are complex nby-1 matrices and ′ denotes Hermitean conjugation. Let μC(M) and μR(M) denote the structured singular values μ(M,∆) of M defined with ∆ = ∆C and ∆ = ∆R respectively, where ∆C is the cone of all diagonal matrices with complex entries, and ∆R is the cone of all diagonal matrices with real entries. (a) Express μC(M) and μR...

In this article, we introduce a family of weighted lattice paths, whose step set is {H = (1, 0), V = (0, 1), D1 = (1, 1), . . . , Dm−1 = (1,m − 1)}. Using these lattice paths, we define a family of Riordan arrays whose sum on the rising diagonal is the k-bonacci sequence. This construction generalizes the Pascal and Delannoy Riordan arrays, whose sum on the rising diagonal is the Fibonacci and ...

There is an error in the last sentence of the “Validation on factual statements” section of the Results. The sentence should read: With this method we estimate that, in the four subject areas, true statements are assigned higher truth values than false ones with probability 95%, 98%, 100%, and 95%, respectively. Fig 4 is incorrect. Please view the corrected figure below. For each confusion matr...
