in this paper we define s algebras and show that every finite group can be found in some s algebra.  we define and study the s degree of a finite group and determine the s degree of several classes of finite groups such as cyclic groups, elementary abelian $p$-groups, and dihedral groups $d_p$.

In this article, the author generalizes Dempster’s rule, Yager’s rule, and Dubois-Prade’s rule for belief functions combination in order to be applicable to hyper-power sets according to the Dezert-Smarandache (DSm) Theory. A comparison of the rules with the DSm rule of combination is further presented.

This article represerts an extension of [rabirca, 2000aJ. A new equation for upper bOlDlds is obtained based on the Smarandache f-inferior part function. An example involving tpper diagonal matrices is given in order to illustrate that the new equation provide a better computation.
