We study Einstein lightlike hypersurfaces M of a Lorentzian space form M̃(c) admitting a semi-symmetric non-metric connection subject to the conditions; (1) M is screen conformal and (2) the structure vector field ζ of M̃ belongs to the screen distribution S(TM). The main result is a characterization theorem for such a lightlike hypersurface.

Given a hypersurface M on a unit sphere of the Euclidean space, we define the cone based on M as the set of half-lines issuing from the origin and passing through M. By assuming that the scalar curvature of the cone vanishes, we obtain conditions under which bounded domains of such cone are stable or unstable.

We classify all singular Del Pezzo surfaces of degree three or greater whose universal torsor is an open subset of a hypersurface in affine space. Equivalently, their Cox ring is a polynomial ring with exactly one relation. For all 20 types with this property, we describe the Cox ring in detail.
