a comparison of buckling analysis of the nanoplate and nanocomposite plate with central square hole embedded in winkler foundation is presented in this article. in order to enhance mechanical properties of nanoplate with central cut out, carbon nano tubes (cnts) are applied as uniform distribution (ud) through thickness direction. in order to define the shape function of plate with square cut o...

would be a square. One could factor this into primes in Z to see that it is not a square, or hope that it is not a square modulo some relatively small prime. Indeed, modulo 11 it is 2, which is not a square modulo 11 (by brute force, or by Euler’s criterion (using the cyclicness of (Z/11)×) 2(11−1)/2 = −1 mod 11, or by recalling the part of Quadratic Reciprocity that asserts that 2 is a square ...

This paper presents an accelerated variant of the hybrid proximal extragradient (HPE) method for convex optimization, referred to as the accelerated HPE (A-HPE) framework. Iterationcomplexity results are established for the A-HPE framework, as well as a special version of it, where a large stepsize condition is imposed. Two specific implementations of the A-HPE framework are described in the co...

magnetic resonance imaging (mri) is a notable medical imaging technique that makes of phenomenon of nuclear magnetic resonance. because of the resolution and the technology being harmless, mri has considered as the most desirable imaging technique in clinical applications. the visual quality of mri plays an important role in accuracy of medical delineations that can be seriously degraded by exi...

To determine the timing of peak bone mass and density, we conducted a cross-sectional study of bone mass measurements in 265 premenopausal Caucasian females, aged 8-50 yr. Bone mass and bone mineral density were measured using dual X-ray absorptiometry and single-photon absorptiometry at the spine (anteroposterior, lateral), proximal femur, radius shaft, distal forearm, and the whole body. Bone...

This paper extends the energy-based version of the stochastic linearization method, known for classical nonlinear systems, to open quantum systems with canonically commuting dynamic variables governed by quantum stochastic differential equations with non-quadratic Hamiltonians. The linearization proceeds by approximating the actual Hamiltonian of the quantum system by a quadratic function of it...

Multivariate Quadratic Equations over Finite Fields Heliang Huang, Wansu Bao* Zhengzhou Information Science and Technology Institute, Zhengzhou 450000, China ABSTRACT Solving systems of m multivariate quadratic equations in n variables (MQ-problem) over finite fields is NP-hard. The security of many cryptographic systems is based on this problem. Up to now, the best algorithm for solving the un...

Abstract: This paper proposes a new algorithm for solving Mixed-Integer Quadratic Programming (MIQP) problems. The algorithm is particularly tailored to solving small-scale MIQPs such as those that arise in embedded hybrid Model Predictive Control (MPC) applications. The approach combines branch and bound (B&B) with nonnegative least squares (NNLS), that are used to solve Quadratic Programming ...

Previously described Doppler color flow mapping methods for estimating the severity of valvular regurgitation have focused on the distal jet. In this study, a newer Doppler color flow technique, focusing on the flow proximal to an orifice, was used. This method identifies a proximal isovelocity surface area (PISA) by displaying an aliasing interface. Volume flow rate (cm3/s) can be calculated a...

In this paper, we solve the quadratic $alpha$-functional equations $2f(x) + 2f(y) = f(x + y) + alpha^{-2}f(alpha(x-y)); (0.1)$ where $alpha$ is a fixed non-Archimedean number with $alpha^{-2}neq 3$. Using the fixed point method and the direct method, we prove the Hyers-Ulam stability of the quadratic $alpha$-functional equation (0.1) in non-Archimedean Banach spaces.
