A plane subsonic jet was subjected to periodic oscillations in the near nozzle region by a twin vane system. During excitation, the jet was found to spread significantly and entrain mass much more than its steady counterpart. Time averaged static pressure measured in the flow field with a disc probe exhibited prominent well defined suction regions different from that of a steady jet.

This contribution presents a numerical analysis based on the effects of aerodynamics bump-based humpback whale fins available turbine blade edge. In this research, performance comparisons have been made dual sequestered blades. One blades was sinusoidal in shaped with Bumped Lead Edge (BLE) and other one Upright Leading (ULE). However, all are similar cross-sectional profile i.e. NACA-012. rese...

An exploratory computational investigation using RANS & URANS was carried out to understand the aerodynamics around an isolated single rotating wheel with decreasing ground proximity. The wheel was initially modelled in free air conditions, then with decreasing ground proximity and increased yaw angle with rotational speeds. Three speeds of rotation were applied to the wheel so that the effect ...

We establish the existence and stability of multidimensional steady transonic flows with transonic shocks through an infinite nozzle of arbitrary cross-sections, including a slowly varying de Laval nozzle. The transonic flow is governed by the inviscid potential flow equation with supersonic upstream flow at the entrance, uniform subsonic downstream flow at the exit at infinity, and the slip bo...
