We study the complexity of computing equilibria in two classes of network games based on flows fractional BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) games and fractional BBC (Bounded Budget Connection) games. BGP is the glue that holds the Internet together and hence its stability, i.e. the equilibria of fractional BGP games [15], is a matter of practical importance. BBC games [21] follow in the tradition o...

Using tadpole-improved actions we investigate the consistency between different methods of measuring the aspect ratio renormalization of anisotropic-lattice gluons for bare aspect ratios x054,6,10 and inverse lattice spacing in the range as 5660–840 MeV. The tadpole corrections to the action, which are established selfconsistently, are defined for two cases, mean link tadpoles in the Landau gau...

Using the differential geometry of curves and surfaces, the L-equivalent soliton equations of the some (2+1)-dimensional integrable spin systems are found. These equations include the modified Novikov-Veselov, Kadomtsev-Petviashvili, Nizhnik-Novikov-Veselov and other equations. Some aspects of the connection between geometry and multidimensional soliton equations are discussed.

In this paper we study finite deformations in a pre-stressed, hyperelastic compressible plate. For small-amplitude nonlinear waves, we obtain equations that involve an amplitude parameter ε. Using an asymptotic perturbation technique, we derive a new family of two-dimensional nonlinear dispersive equations. This family includes the KdV, Kadomtsev-Petviashvili and Camassa-Holm equations.

We numerically study nonlinear dispersive wave equations of generalized Kadomtsev-Petviashvili type in the regime of small dispersion. To this end we include general power-law nonlinearities with different signs. A particular focus is on the Korteweg-de Vries sector of the corresponding solutions. version: October 26, 2006

in this paper, the electronic eigenstates and energy spectra of single and two-interacting electrons confined in a concentric double quantum rings with a perpendicular magnetic field in the presence of         on-center donor and acceptor impurities are calculated using the exact diagonalization method. for a single electron case, the binding energy of on-center donor and acceptor impurities ar...

In this study coupled system of nonlinear time fractional Drinfeld-Sokolov-Wilson equations, which describes the propagation of anomalous shallow water waves is investigated. The Lie symmetry analysis is performed on the model. Employing the suitable similarity transformations, the governing model is similarity reduced to a system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations with Erdelyi-Kober ...

in this paper, we prove the existence and uniqueness results to the random fractional functional differential equations under assumptions more general than the lipschitz type condition. moreover, the distance between exact solution and appropriate solution, and the existence extremal solution of the problem is also considered.

We consider a Lie algebra generalizing the Virasoro algebra to the case of two space variables. We study its coadjoint representation and calculate the corresponding Euler equations. In particular, we obtain a bi-Hamiltonian system that leads to an integrable non-linear partial differential equation. This equation is an analogue of the Kadomtsev–Petviashvili (of type B) equation.

The Kadomtsev-Petviashvili (KP) equation is known to admit exact, quasiperiodic solutions that can be written in terms of Riemann theta functions, with a nite number of phases in each solution. In this paper, we propose a method to solve the initial-value problem for the KP equation, for initial data taken from this class of quasiperiodic functions.
