Let  be a commutative ring and  be a unitary  module. We define a semi prime sub module of a module and consider various properties of it. Also we define semi-radical of a sub module of a module and give a number of its properties. We define modules which satisfy the semi-radical formula and present the existence of such a module.

Let A be a truncated quiver algebra over an algebraically closed field such that any oriented cycle in the ordinary of is zero A. We give number indecomposable direct summands middle term almost split sequence for class Hochschild extension algebras by standard duality module D(A).

In this paper, an incremental approach for the identification of a model for transport coefficients in convection-diffusion systems on the basis of high-resolution measurement data is presented. The transport is represented by a convection term with known convective velocity and by a diffusion term with an unknown, generally state-dependent transport coefficient. The identification of the trans...

An application of the method of approximate inverse to a two-dimensional inverse scattering problem is discussed. The determination of the refractive index from an inverse scattering experiment is a nonlinear inverse problem. In this paper we treat the 2D scalar case. We propose to split this nonlinear problem into an ill-posed linear problem and a (well-posed) nonlinear part by rst solving the...

Selective ubiquitination of proteins is directed by diverse families of ubiquitin-protein ligases (or E3s) in plants. One important type uses Cullin-3 as a scaffold to assemble multisubunit E3 complexes containing one of a multitude of bric-a-brac/tramtrack/broad complex (BTB) proteins that function as substrate recognition factors. We previously described the 80-member BTB gene superfamily in ...

Gait adaptation is essential for humans to walk according to the different demands of the environment. Although locomotor adaptation has been studied in different contexts and in various patient populations, the mechanisms behind locomotor adaptation are still not fully understood. The aim of the present study was to test two opposing hypotheses about the control of split-belt walking, one base...

Most learning systems applied to problem solving have the goal of learning knowledge for solving problems more eeciently. However, very few systems have focused on the acquisition of planning operator descriptions. In this paper, we present a system that learns operator deenitions from the interaction with a completely unknown environment. In order to achieve better learning convergence, severa...

Direct Anonymous Attestation (DAA) is an anonymous digital signature scheme that aims to provide both signer authentication and privacy. One of the properties that makes DAA an attractive choice in practice is the split signer role. In short, a principal signer (a Trusted Platform Module (TPM)) signs messages in collaboration with an assistant signer (the Host, a standard computing platform int...
