A new mite species Allochaetophora iranica sp. nov. (Tetranychoidea: Allochaetophoridae), is described and illustrated based on females and deutonymphs collected from Phragmites australis (Poaceae) in Iran (Kerman Province). This is the third report of the family Allochaetophoridae for the world and first report of it from Asia.

A new species of freshwater crab, Sodhiana iranica n. sp. (Decapoda: Brachyura: Gecarcinucidae), is described from Bastak, Iran. This is fourth species of Sodhiana Yeo & Ng, 2012, described, and is the second one known from Iran. It can be distinguished from congeners by the form of its carapace and the structure of the male first gonopod.

گونه puccinellia dolicholepis (v. krecz.) v. krecz. که ازشمال غرب ایران جمع آوری شده است، برای اولین بار از ایران و نیز محدوده فلورا ایرانیکا گزارش میگردد. این گونه با نزدیکترین گونه خود در ایران p. bulbosa (grossh.) grossh. مقایسه شده و نیز ویژگی های ریز ریخت شناسی و تشریحی آن توصیف می گردد.
