This article investigates the portrayal of pledge allegiance in school textbooks middle with a focus on nation construction. Drawing Ethno-Symbolist approach to formation, as developed by Anthony Smith, are analyzed qualitatively. The findings reveal that is portrayed national symbol characterizes Moroccan formation and persistence over long durée, from ethnie pre-modern modern entity.
