Abstract In this article, through the Hirota bilinear method and long wave limit method, based on N-solitons, we construct multiple lump solutions of generalized (3+1)-dimensional Hirota–Satsuma–Ito equation. Furthermore, to enhance our understanding obtained, further elucidate physical implications these with three-dimensional two-dimensional graphs. The obtained might have practical applicati...

We establish exact solutions including periodic wave and solitary wave solutions for the integrable sixth-order Drinfeld-Sokolov-Satsuma-Hirota system. We employ this system by using a generalized (G'/G)-expansion and the generalized tanh-coth methods. These methods are developed for searching exact travelling wave solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations. It is shown that these me...

The Hirota bilinear formalism and soliton solutions for a generalized Volterra system is presented. Also, starting from the soliton solutions, we obtain a class of nonsingular rational solutions using the ”long wave limit” procedure of Ablowitz and Satsuma, and appropriate ”gauge” transformations. Their properties are also discussed and it is shown that these solutions interact elastically with...

The multiple exp-function algorithm, as a generalization of Hirota’s perturbation scheme, is used to construct multiple wave solutions to the (3+1)dimensional generalized KP and BKP equations. The resulting solutions involve generic phase shifts and wave frequencies containing many existing choices. It is also pointed out that the presented phase shifts for the two considered equations are all ...

The generalized (n + 1)-dimensional KP equation with variable coefficients is investigated in this paper. The bilinear form of the equation has been obtained by the Hirota direct method. In addition, with the help of Wronskian technique and the Pfaffian properties, Wronskian and Grammian solutions have been generated.

In this work, the generalized (2+1) and (3+1)-dimensional Calogero-Bogoyavlenskii-Schiff equations are studied. We employ the Cole-Hopf transformation and the Hirota bilinear method to derive multiple-soliton solutions and multiple singular soliton solutions for these equations. The necessary conditions for complete integrability of each equation are derived.

A new fractional subequation method is proposed for finding exact solutions for fractional partial differential equations (FPDEs). The fractional derivative is defined in the sense ofmodified Riemann-Liouville derivative. As applications, abundant exact solutions including solitary wave solutions as well as periodic wave solutions for the space-time fractional generalized Hirota-Satsuma coupled...

The fractional derivatives in the sense of modified Riemann-Liouville derivative and the improved fractional sub-equation method are employed for constructing the exact solutions of nonlinear fractional partial differential equations. By means of this method, the space-time fractional generalized Hirota-Satsuma coupled Kortewegde Vries equations are successfully solved. As a result, three types...

In this paper, we study the generalized coupled Hirota–Satsuma KdV system by using the two new improved projective Riccati equations method. As a result, many explicit exact solutions, which contain new solitary wave solutions, periodic wave solutions and combined formal solitary wave solutions and combined formal periodic wave solutions are obtained. c © 2007 Published by Elsevier Ltd
