Transient voltage oscillation was observed in the spin-density wave phase of (TMTSF)2AsFs. Its frequency is proportional to the non-ohmic current. In high electric field, current-field relation becomes irregular and transient oscillation diminishes. The bistability of the density-wave conductivity proposed by Littlewood is likely to be realized.

Electric fields can be used to tune donor spins in silicon using the Stark shift, whereby the donor electron wave function is displaced by an electric field, modifying the hyperfine coupling between the electron spin and the donor nuclear spin. We present a technique based on dynamic decoupling of the electron spin to accurately determine the Stark shift, and illustrate this using antimony dono...

Introduction: Electromagnetic field emitted by laptops are known as extremely low frequency (ELF) Waves. The aim of this study was to investigate the intensity of electric and magnetic field with extremely low frequency emitted by common laptops. . Material and Method: Intensity of electric and magnetic field were measured on four sides of 40 common by used laptop at the distance of 30, 60 and...

Vortexlike turbulent structures in hot-ion mode plasmas with several keV are observed in the case with a radially produced weak shear of electric fields E(r). However, a strong E(r) shear formation due to a high ion-confining potential phi(c) production clears up these vortices together with plasma-confinement improvement and disappearance of both drift-wave and turbulencelike Fourier spectral ...

The brown ghost knifefish, Apteronotus leptorhynchus, is a model wave-type gymnotiform used extensively in neuroethological studies. As all weakly electric fish, they produce an electric field (electric organ discharge, EOD) and can detect electric signals in their environments using electroreceptors. During social interactions, A. leptorhynchus produce communication signals by modulating the f...

This paper introduces an EMC-oriented study of the frequency-domain behavior of the electric field generated by two dipole antennas. First of all, the theoretical expression of this field is analyzed and confronted with the macromodel commonly used in electrical circuits. Then, the most significant components of the expression are included into the topological study of a two-dipole network thro...

The nonlinear optical and optoelectronic properties of graphene with the emphasis on the processes of harmonic generation, frequency mixing, photon drag and photogalvanic effects as well as generation of photocurrents due to coherent interference effects, are reviewed. The article presents the state-of-the-art of this subject, including both recent advances and well-established results. Various...
