Although the discontinuity structures in the microstrip transmission lines such as a gap and bend have been largely studied, the three-dimensional edge effects, skin effects and metal losses have hardly been analyzed. In this paper, modeling of transmission line with bend and gap discontinuity with equation based process technology independent method are developed. The effect of the signal laye...
in this article, the linear array (with 20 elements in the horizontal orientation) of microstrip antenna is examined with horizontal polarization. the set includes three microstrip substrates. there is a power network in two lower substrates and microstrip patches in the upper substrate. excitation of patches has been done as coupled through the power network in two lower substrates. using the ...
A method combining Infinite Impulse Response (IIR) filters and Neural Networks (NN) is proposed for precise electromagnetic (EM) of complex structures true the use of efficient optimization and parameterization techniques. This method is based on the characterization of the time response as a transfer function using a digital filter. The use of the neural network allows then the modeling of th...
In this paper, band-pass filters based on the microstrip configuration and utilizing coupled defected ground structures are presented. The 50 Ω microstrip line has a gap discontinuity in the middle and characterized by stepped impedance resonators on either half. The four fractal geometries tested for defected ground are the first and second iterations of the modified Moore curve, the closed st...
This paper deals with the handling of deformable linear objects (DLOs), such as hoses, wires or leaf springs, bases on force/torque sensing. First, we describe the characteristic change of force and moment for all single-contact transitions which may occur between DLO and a rigid polyhedron obstacle. Second, we present data processing algorithms for the automated detection of state transitions ...
analysis of aperture-coupled microstrip antennas with a superstrate using space domain closed form greens functions is presented. integral equations are derived from applying the boundary conditions on the radiating patch, across the aperture, and on the microstrip feedline. the computation of space domain greens functions is performed using the closed-form. the solution of the integral equatio...
This paper introduces ‘treatable’ theories, a large class of first-order theories each having a unique countable recursively saturated model.Important examples of such theories are DIS and DLO. It turns out that resplendency or parameter-free resplendency for such theories is implied by a Σ1(Π1 ThN)-statement. Other results concerning resplendency and Σ1definability are obtained.
The study of Microstrip patch antennas have made great progress in recent years. Compared with conventional antennas, Microstrip patch antennas have more advantages and better prospects. They are lighter in weight, low volume, low cost, low profile, smaller in dimension and ease of fabrication and conformity. Moreover, the Microstrip patch antennas can provide dual and circular polarizations, d...
