this paper presents a computational method for solving two types of integro-differential equations, system of nonlinear high order volterra-fredholm integro-differential equation(vfides) and nonlinear fractional order integro-differential equations. our tools for this aims is operational matrices of integration and fractional integration. by this method the given problems reduce to solve a syst...

We consider nonlinear integro-differential equations like the ones that arise from stochastic control problems with purely jump Lévy processes. We obtain a nonlocal version of the ABP estimate, Harnack inequality, and interior C 1; ̨ regularity for general fully nonlinear integro-differential equations. Our estimates remain uniform as the degree of the equation approaches 2, so they can be seen ...

This paper investigates the instability of an isotropic, homogeneous, simply supported rectangular plate subjected to a prescribed periodic in-plane load. The material is assumed to be viscoelastic and obey the Leaderman nonlinear constitutive relation. The equation of motion is derived as a nonlinear integro-partial-differential equation, and is simplified into a nonlinear integro-differential...

In this second part of paper the description of conservative averaging method for partial differential (or integro-differential) equation with discontinuous coefficients in cylinder type domain is given. The conservative averaging is carried out in two orthogonal directions. Different types of boundary conditions are examined. Key-Words: partial differential equations, discontinuous coefficient...

Integro-partial differential equations occur in many contexts in mathematical physics. Typical examples include time-dependent diffusion equations containing a parameter ~e.g., the temperature! that depends on integrals of the unknown distribution function. The standard approach to solving the resulting nonlinear partial differential equation involves the use of predictor–corrector algorithms, ...

in this paper, we give an analytical approximate solution for an integro- differential equation which describes the charged particle motion for certain configurations of oscillating magnetic fields is considered. the homotopy analysis method (ham) is used for solving this equation. several examples are given to reconfirm the efficiency of these algorithms. the results of applying this procedure...

We will prove the well-posedness of certain second order ordinary and partial integro-differential equations with an integral term of the form t ∫ 0 m(φ(t−s))φ̇(s) ds, wherem is given and φ is the solution. The new aspect is the dependence of the kernel on the solution. In addition, for the ordinary integro-differential equation, the asymptotic behaviour of the solution is described for some ker...

Superhydrophobicity can arise from the ability of a submerged rough hydrophobic surface to trap air in its surface pores, and thereby reduce the contact area between the water and the frictional solid walls. A submerged surface can only remain superhydrophobic (SHP) as long as it retains the air in its pores. SHP surfaces have a short underwater life, and their longevity depends strongly on the...

Deviations from kinetic equilibrium of massive particles caused by the universe expansion are calculated analytically in the Boltzmann approximation. For the case of an energy independent amplitude of elastic scattering, an exact partial differential equation is derived instead of the usual integro-differential one. A simple perturbative solution of the former is found. For the case of an energ...

In this paper we study an integro-differential equation describing granular flow dynamics with slow erosion. This nonlinear partial differential equation is a conservation law where the flux contains an integral term. Through a generalized wave front tracking algorithm, approximate solutions are constructed and shown to converge strongly to a Lipschitz semigroup.
