We analyze the proton electromagnetic form factor ratio R(Q) = QF2(Q 2)/F1(Q ) as a function of momentum transfer Q within perturbative QCD. We find that the prediction for R(Q) at large momentum transfer Q depends on the exclusive quark wave functions, which are unknown. For a wide range of wave functions we find that QF2/F1 ∼ const at large momentum transfer, in agreement with recent JLAB dat...

Parental attitudes toward child socialization influence their child-rearing practices, the quality of parent-child relationships, and children’s developmental outcomes. The Modified Child Rearing Practices Questionnaire (CRPR-Q) has been widely used to assess parenting practices across development. However, few studies investigating its two-factorial structure (nurturance restrictiveness) have ...

The heat quenching factor Q (the ratio of the heat signals produced by nuclear and electron recoils of equal energy) of the heat-and-ionization germanium bolometers used by the EDELWEISS collaboration has been measured. It is explained how this factor affects the energy scale and the effective quenching factor observed in calibrations with neutron sources. This effective quenching effect is fou...

We report the most precise measurement to date of a parity-violating asymmetry in elastic electron-proton scattering. The measurement was carried out with a beam energy of 3.03 GeV and a scattering angle 〈θlab〉 = 6.0 ◦, with the result APV = (−1.14 ± 0.24 (stat) ± 0.06 (syst)) × 10. From this we extract, at Q = 0.099GeV, the strange form factor combination GsE + 0.080G s M = 0.030 ± 0.025 (stat...

BACKGROUND There is growing research evidence that subclinical autistic traits are elevated in relatives of individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), continuously distributed in the general population and likely to share common etiology with ASD. A number of measures have been developed to assess autistic traits quantitatively in unselected samples. So far, the Quantitative-Checklist for...

< π(q) D(q2)|D(q1, ǫ) >= gD∗Dπ(ǫ · q) (1) governs the decay D → Dπ; from the experimental branching ratio BR(D → Dπ) = 68.1 ± 1.0 ± 1.3 % [1] and from the measurement Γ(D) < 131 KeV [2] the upper limit gD∗Dπ ≤ 20.6 can be derived. The analogous coupling constant in theB channel, gB∗Bπ, describes the contribution of the B ∗ pole to the form factor F 1 (q ) of the semileptonic decay B → πlν:
