The second author’s ω, ∆, χ conjecture proposes that every graph satisties χ ≤ d 1 2 (∆ + 1 + ω)e. In this paper we prove that the conjecture holds for all claw-free graphs. Our approach uses the structure theorem of Chudnovsky and Seymour. We prove that many of beta, beta prime, gamma, inverse gamma, Student tand ultraspherical distributions are freely infinitely divisible, but some of them are not. The latter negative result follows from a local property of probability density functions. Moreover, we show that the Gaussian, many of ultraspherical and Student t-distributions have free divisibility indicator 1.

It is conjectured that a hyperbolic knot complement does not contain a closed embedded totally geodesic surface.
