in this paper, a new fractional sub-equation method is proposed for finding exact solutions of fractional partial differential equations (fpdes) in the sense of modified riemann-liouville derivative. with the aid of symbolic computation, we choose the space-time fractional zakharov-kuznetsov-benjamin-bona-mahony (zkbbm) equation in mathematical physics with a source to illustrate the validity a...
Based on the extended hyperbolic functions method, we obtain the multiple exact explicit solutions of the Klein–Gordon–Zakharov equations. The solutions obtained in this paper include (a) the solitary wave solutions of bell-type for u and n, (b) the solitary wave solutions of kink-type for u and bell-type for n, (c) the solitary wave solutions of a compound of the bell-type and the kink-type fo...
In this paper, we study a class of nonlinear Schrödinger equations (NLS) which admit families of small solitary wave solutions. We consider solutions which are small in the energy space H, and decompose them into solitary wave and dispersive wave components. The goal is to establish the asymptotic stability of the solitary wave and the asymptotic completeness of the dispersive wave. That is, we...
With an extended mapping approach and a linear variable separation approach, a series of solutions (including the Weierstrass elliptic function solutions, solitary wave solutions, periodic wave solutions and rational function solutions) of the (2+1)-dimensional modified dispersive water-wave system (MDWW) is derived. Based on the derived solutions and using some multi-valued functions, we find ...
In this Letter, we study (2 + 1)-dimensional Boussinesq equation and (3 + 1)-dimensional KP equation by using the new generalized transformation in Homogeneous Balance Method (HBM). As a result, many explicit exact solutions, which contain new solitary wave solutions, periodic wave solutions and the combined formal solitary wave solutions and periodic wave solutions, are obtained. 2002 Elsevi...
in this paper, an application of homotopy perturbation method is appliedto nding the solutions of the seven-order sawada-kotera (ssk) and a lax'sseven-order kdv (lskdv) equations. then obtain the exact solitary-wave so-lutions and numerical solutions of the ssk and lskdv equations for the initialconditions. the numerical solutions are compared with the known analyticalsolutions. their rem...
In this paper, we study the generalized coupled Hirota–Satsuma KdV system by using the two new improved projective Riccati equations method. As a result, many explicit exact solutions, which contain new solitary wave solutions, periodic wave solutions and combined formal solitary wave solutions and combined formal periodic wave solutions are obtained. c © 2007 Published by Elsevier Ltd
The objective of this paper is to study the existence of solitary wave solutions of a fifth order model equation for steady capillary-gravity waves over a bump with the Bond number near 1/3. We proved that there exist solitary wave solutions of the model equation for a sufficiently smooth compact bump. Key-Words: Steady capillary-gravity wave, Solitary wave solution, Compact bump.
We study here the existence of solitary wave solutions of a generalized twocomponent Camassa-Holm system. In addition to those smooth solitary-wave solutions, we show that there are solitary waves with singularities: peaked and cusped solitary waves. We also demonstrate that all smooth solitary waves are orbitally stable in the energy space. We finally give a sufficient condition for global str...
