Serial concatenation of standard convolutional or block codes with differential spacetime modulation is considered for flat fading multiple antenna channels. Extrinsic information transfer is used to predict thresholds for various outer codes. Using the differential structure of the inner code near coherent performance is obtained without the use of training symbols.
