In this paper, we introduce a new class of set-valued mappings which is called MD-type mappings. This class of mappings is a set-valued case of a class of the D-type mappings. The class of D-type mappings is a generalization of nonexpansive mappings that recently introduced by Kaewkhao and Sokhuma. The class of MD-type mappings includes upper semi-continuous Suzuki type mappings, upper semi-con...
We prove that the set of common fixed points of a given countable family of relatively nonexpansive mappings is identical to the fixed-point set of a single strongly relatively nonexpansive mapping. This answers Kohsaka and Takahashi’s question in positive. We also introduce the concept of strongly generalized nonexpansive mappings and prove the analogue version of the result above for Ibaraki-...
In this paper, we study to approximate fixed points of Suzuki generalized multivalued nonexpansive mappings by using a three-step iterative scheme (1.1) introduced in [17]. We establish some weak and strong convergence results for satisfying condition (C) with the newly proposed framework uniformly convex real Banach spaces.
In this paper we propose a new iteration process, called the $K^{ast }$ iteration process, for approximation of fixed points. We show that our iteration process is faster than the existing well-known iteration processes using numerical examples. Stability of the $K^{ast}$ iteration process is also discussed. Finally we prove some weak and strong convergence theorems for Suzuki ge...
Abstract The objective of this article is to study a three-step iteration process in the framework Banach spaces and obtain convergence results for Suzuki generalized nonexpansive mappings. We also provide numerical examples that support our main illustrate behavior proposed process. Further, we present data-dependence result supported by nontrivial example. Finally, discuss solution nonlinear ...
Introduction Let be a nonempty subset of a normed linear space . A self-mapping is said to be nonexpansive provided that for all . In 1965, Browder showed that every nonexpansive self-mapping defined on a nonempty, bounded, closed and convex subset of a uniformly convex Banach space , has a fixed point. In the same year, Kirk generalized this existence result by using a geometric notion of ...
In this paper, we establish the existence of a fixed point for generalized nonexpansive multivalued mappings in hyperbolic spaces and we prove some [Formula: see text]-convergence and strong convergence theorems for the iterative scheme proposed by Chang et al. (Appl Math Comp 249:535-540, 2014) to approximate a fixed point for generalized nonexpansive multivalued mapping under suitable conditi...
In this paper, we introduce the iterative method for finding a common element of the set of solutions of a generalized equilibrium problem and the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping in a Hilbert space and then obtain the sequence converges strongly to a common element of two sets. The results extended and improved the corresponding results of Plubtieng and Punpaeng [S. Plubtieng, R. ...
