Extended duality is used to explain the dilepton data of heavy-ion experiments at CERN-SPS. Taking into account the background contributions (hadronic cocktail, Drell-Yan, semileptonic decays of open charm) the spectral shapes of the CERES, NA38/50 and HELIOS-3 data in experiments with lead and sulfur beams can be well described, however, the normalizations of the sulfur beam data are problematic.

Efficient, automated elimination of cuts is a prerequisite for proof analysis. The method CERES, based on Skolemization and resolution has been successfully developed for classical logic for this purpose. We generalize this method to Gödel logic, an important intermediate logic, which is also one of the main formalizations of fuzzy logic.

Using a relativistic transport model for the expansion stage of S+Au collisions at 200 GeV/nucleon, we show that the recently observed enhancement of low-mass dileptons by the CERES collaboration can be explained by the decrease of vector meson masses in hot and dense hadronic matter.
