The selective hydrogenation of benzofurans in the presence a heterogeneous non-noble metal catalyst is reported. developed optimal catalytic material consists cobalt-cobalt oxide core–shell nanoparticles supported on silica, which has been prepared by immobilization and pyrolysis cobalt-DABCO-citric acid complex silica under argon at 800 °C. This novel allows for simple functionalized to 2,3-di...

The present study deals with analysis of the activity of catalysts prepared by addition of different metals to Copper and Cobalt based catalysts for CO oxidation and the variation in activity caused by changes in composition. A series of catalysts were prepared with Cu:Co molar ratio 1:4 and a third metal (M= Ce, Ni, Au, Mg) was added in three different quantities. Compositions were prepared by...

Abstract In this present study, a novel method to fabricate bimetallic Fe-Co catalyst supported on waste silica was investigated for the photo-Fenton-like (PFL) degradation of Methylene Blue (MB) dye. The uniqueness work is preparation via fluidized-bed crystallization (FBC) process. Under optimum conditions initial pH 3.0, 3.0 mM H 2 O , and 1.0 g L -1 FBC-derived Fe-Co/SiO (fFCS), maximum res...

Conducted experiments and collected data show that use of catalytic systems contain individual amino acids industrial catalyst – solution cobalt naphtenate with cyclohexanone have certain influence on the process liquid-phase homogeneous oxidation cyclohexane. The results spectral studies binary based NC using additives different nature (alcohols nitrogen-containing modifiers) allow us to propo...

A new cobalt catalyst is presented for the domino hydroformylation-reductive amination reaction of olefins. The optimal Co-tert-BuPy-Xantphos shows good to excellent linear-to-branched (n/iso) regioselectivity reactions aliphatic alkenes with aromatic amines under mild conditions. This system far more selective than traditional cobalt(I) catalysts and even better most known rhodium catalysts.

This review analyzes the literature from 80’s to beginning of 2020 and covers use carbon materials as supports for cobalt-based catalysts used in Fischer Tropsch reaction. The article is composed two sections. first one details reactivity supported cobalt with a particular focus on: i) reaction mechanisms conditions, ii) effect particle size, iii) confinement effects, iv) hydrogen spillover, v)...

Cobalt based catalysts are promising bifunctional electrocatalysts for both oxygen reduction and oxygen evolution reactions (ORR and OER) in unitized regenerative fuel cells (URFCs) operating with alkaline electrolytes. Here we report a hybrid composite of cobalt nanoparticles embedded in nitrogen-doped carbon (Co/N-C) via a solvothermal carbonization strategy. With the synergistic effect arisi...

In a novel dual bed reactor Fischer-Tropsch synthesis was studied by using two diffrent cobalt catalysts. An alkali-promoted cobalt catalyst was used in the first bed of a fixed-bed reactor followed by a Rutenuim promoted cobalt catalyst in the second bed. The activity, product selectivity and accelerated deactivation of the system were assessed and compared with a conventional single bed r...
