the changing of round and back vowel /u/ to unround and front vowel [i] occurs in lori dialects as well as some other persian dialects. this vowel change includes both unrounding and fronting. this paper aimed at coming up with an inclusive ranking of constraints to explain occurrence and nonoccurrence of this vowel change in various phonological environments in silahkori dialect within optimal...

We focus on a Cauchy problem for impulsive integrodifferential equations involving nonlocal initial conditions, where the linear part is a generator of a solution operator on a complex Banach space. A suitable mild solution for the Cauchy problem is introduced. The existence and uniqueness of mild solutions for the Cauchy problem, under various criterions, are proved. In the last part of the pa...

Abstract. The shape of wheat kernels is one of the most important criterions for quality inspection and grading. This paper has used Fourier describer to describe the three views of wheat shape accurately and has had a counter-construction operation. Also it verified this method for describing the shape, small but complex. Finally, the appropriate characteristic parameters were selected, and the...

If a mathematical program has many symmetric optima, solving it via Branchand-Bound techniques often yields search trees of disproportionate sizes; thus, finding and exploiting symmetries is an important task. We propose a method for automatically finding the formulation group of any given Mixed-Integer Nonlinear Program, and for reformulating the problem by means of static symmetry breaking co...

We study the well-posedness of the Hele-Shaw-Cahn-Hilliard system modeling binary fluid flow in porous media with arbitrary viscosity contrast but matched density between the components. Well-posedness that is global in time in the two dimensional case and local in time in the three dimensional case are established. Several blow-up criterions in the three dimensional case are provided as well.

In this paper we examine the impact of using the Sherali-Adams procedure on highly symmetric integer programming problems. Linear relaxations of the extended formulations generated by Sherali-Adams can be very large, containing O( ( n d ) ) many variables for the level-d closure. When large amounts of symmetry are present in the problem instance however, the symmetry can be used to generate a m...

We provide a new framework for the joint analysis of cluster observations (JACO) using simultaneous fits to X-ray, Sunyaev-Zel’dovich (SZ), and weak lensing data. Our method fits the mass models simultaneously to all data, provides explicit separation of the gaseous, dark, and stellar components, and—for the first time—allows joint constraints on all measurable physical parameters. JACO include...

We consider a common type of symmetry where we have a matrix of decision variables with interchangeable rows and columns. A simple and efficient method to deal with such row and column symmetry is to post symmetry breaking constraints like DOUBLELEX and SNAKELEX. We provide a number of positive and negative results on posting such symmetry breaking constraints. On the positive side, we prove th...

We introduce a new global constraint which combines together the lexicographic ordering constraint with some sum constraints. Lexicographic ordering constraints are frequently used to break symmetry, whilst sum constraints occur in many problems involving capacity or partitioning. Our results show that this global constraint is useful when there is a very large space to explore, such as when th...

We show that in theories with radiatively induced electro-weak symmetry breaking the EDMs obey a simple approximate scaling under the transformation m0 → λm0, m 1 2 → λm 1 2 in the large μ region. In the scaling region the knowledge of a single point in the MSSM parameter space where the cancellation in the EDMs occur allows one to generate a trajectory in the m0 −m 1 2 plane where the cancella...
