In this paper, we show how the calculation of partition coefficients for the analysis of Genetic Algorithms may be extended to nonbinary alphabets. We demonstrate the use of such coefficients in the analysis of deception and the construction of fully deceptive problems of any given order. We also show how previous analysis of static deception may be extended to the non-binary case.
