~ A flexible parser can deal with input that deviates from its grammar, in addition to input that conforms to it. Ideally, such a parser will correct the deviant input: sometimes, it will be unable to correct it at all; at other times, correction will be possible, but only to within a range of ambiguous possJbilities. This paper is concerned with such ambiguous situations, and with making it as...

[1] Recently proposed ion-mediated nucleation theory suggests that the enhanced uptake of neutral polar molecules by the charged clusters as a result of dipole-charge interaction may be critical to the nucleation of particles in the atmosphere. A rigorous parameterization of the enhancement effect of dipole-charge interaction on the growth of charged clusters is presented and the important para...

The study focused on a theoretical of natural convection in van der Waals gas near vertical plate. A novel simplified form the equation derived enabled analytical modeling fluid flow and heat transfer. Analytical solutions were obtained for velocity temperature profiles, as well Nusselt numbers. It was revealed that nonlinear effects considered by state contribute to acceleration or deceleratio...

We describe an information terminal that supports interactive search with an age-adaptable search user interface whose main focus group are young users. The terminal enables a flexible adaptation of the search user interface to address changing requirements of users at different age groups. The interface is operated using touch interactions as they are considered to be more natural for children...

the extent to which written corrective feedback on linguistic errors can play a role in helping l2 writers improve the accuracy of their writing continues to be an issue of interest to researchers and teachers since truscott (1996) mounted a case for its abolition. while there is growing empirical evidence that written corrective feedback can successfully target some types of linguistic error (...

A common feature of drugs of abuse is their ability to increase extracellular dopamine levels in key brain circuits. The actions of dopamine within these circuits are thought to be important in reward and addiction-related behaviors. Current theories of addiction also posit a central role for corticotrophin-releasing factor (CRF) and an interaction between CRF and monoaminergic signaling. One r...

We discuss how the chemical composition of QCD jets is altered by final state interactions in surrounding nuclear matter. We describe this process through conversions of leading jet particles. We find that conversions lead to an enhancement of kaons at high transverse momentum in Au+Au collisions at RHIC, while their azimuthal asymmetry v 2 is suppressed.

The interaction of DPPA which is an important component in cellular membrane with molecules of water asmedia, cause some changes in geometry of DPPA .In this study we focused our attention on comparing thismolecule with related hydrated complexes employing different basis sets at hartree-fock levels of theory. Thetheoretical NMR shielding tensor of some imported atoms were also reported.

Introduction : The innate immune system as the first line of defense against the pathogens recognizes pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMPs) by Toll-Like Receptors (TLRs). Interaction of bacterial PAMPs by TLRs results in activation of innate and acquired immunity. FimH adhesin, a minor component of type 1 fimbriae encoded by Uropathogenic Escherichia coli (UPEC) is a PAMP of TLR4 tha...

The greatest hindrance for transdermal drug delivery (TDD) is the barrier property of skin, especially the stratum corneum (SC). Various methodologies have been investigated and developed to enhance the penetration of drugs through the skin. Among them, the most popular approach is the application of penetration enhancers (PEs), including natural terpenes, a very safe and effective class of PEs...
