大規模地すべり地である高知県の谷の内地すべり地を対象に,間隙水圧変動観測結果やボーリング孔内水位変動タイプから,地すべりに影響する地下水の流動経路と地質構造との関係について検討した。その結果,当地すべり地では,流れ盤構造をなすチャート・粘板岩,深層地下水の流動経路と亀裂質のチャート層を流れる流動経路があり,これらが集中する場所ですべり面付近の間隙水圧が高くなり,地すべり移動が生じると考えられた。大規模地すべりでの地下水排除工計画のための調査では,すべり面での間隙水圧と水文地質構造に注目した地下水流動経路の把握が重要といえる。
