As CdTe PV modules reached commercialization, vocal opposition emerged based on concerns about potential emissions of cadmium from them. In this short article I discuss the pertinent technical issues and conclude that CdTe PV modules do not present any risks to health and the environment during their use, and recycling the modules at the end of their useful life completely resolves any environm...

Let X,Y be Banach modules over a C∗-algebra and let r1, . . . , rn ∈ R be given. We prove the generalized Hyers-Ulam stability of the following functional equation in Banach modules over a unital C∗-algebra: ∑n j 1 f −rjxj ∑ 1≤i≤n,i / j rixi 2 ∑n i 1 rif xi nf ∑n i 1 rixi . We show that if ∑n i 1 ri / 0, ri, rj / 0 for some 1 ≤ i < j ≤ n and a mapping f : X → Y satisfies the functional equation...
The use of geometric invariants has recently played an important role in the solution of classification problems in non-commutative ring theory. We construct geometric invariants of non-commutative projectivizataions, a significant class of examples in non-commutative algebraic geometry. More precisely, if S is an affine, noetherian scheme, X is a separated, noetherian S-scheme, E is a coherent...
In this paper, we introduce the notion of $(m,n)$-algebraically compact modules as an analogue of algebraically compact modules and then we show that $(m,n)$-algebraically compactness and $(m,n)$-pure injectivity for modules coincide. Moreover, further characterizations of a $(m,n)$-pure injective module over a commutative ring are given.
We study Gorenstein flat objects in the category Rep(Q,R) of representations a left rooted quiver Q with values Mod(R), all R-modules, where R is an arbitrary associative ring. show that representation X if and only for each vertex i canonical homomorphism φiX:⊕a:j→iX(j)→X(i) injective, R-modules X(i) CokerφiX are flat. As application, we obtain model structure on which give explicit descriptio...
Let R be a finite dimensional k-algebra over an algebraically closed field k and modR be the category of all finitely generated left R-modules. For a given full subcategory X of modR, we denote by pfdX the projective finitistic dimension of X . That is, pfdX := sup {pdX : X ∈ X and pdX < ∞}. It was conjectured by H. Bass in the 60’s that the projective finitistic dimension pfd (R) := pfd (modR)...
Measuring modularity is important to understand the structure of networks, and has an important number of real-world implications. However, several measures exists to assess the modularity, and give both different modularity values and different modules composition. In this article, I propose an a posteriori measure of modularity, which represents the ratio of interactions between members of th...
The class of ads modules with the SIP (briefly, $SA$-modules) is studied. Various conditions for a module to be $SA$-module are given. It is proved that for a quasi-continuous module $M$, $M$ is a UC-module if and only if $M$ is an $SA$-module. Also, it is proved that the direct sum of two $SA$-modules as $R$-modules is an $SA$-module when $R$ is the sum of the annihilators of thes...
