Luzarida and Luzaridella are first recorded from Brazil. A new species of Luzaridella and the female of Luzarida lata is described from Central Amazon. Habitus, morphological characteristics, male and female genitalia photographs are provided. Calling song of Luzarida lata and Luzaridella sp. nov. are characterized.

Three Craniophora taxa from China, C. fujianensis Kiss and Gyulai, sp. n., C. fujianensis hainanensis Kiss and Gyulai, ssp. n. and C. sichuanensis Kiss, Gyulai and Saldaitis, sp. n., are newly described. Adult habitus and male genitalia are illustrated and compared with those of C. harmandi (Poujade) and C. praeclara (Graeser). Females of the new taxa are unknown.

The third species of the Neotropical genus Leinendera Carrera, 1945, Leinendera achaeta sp. n., is described from Rio Grande do Sul state, Brazil. The habitus, wing and male terminalia are described and illustrated, and a key to the three Brazilian species is provided.

A new malachiid species of the genus Platyebaeus Wittmer is described: P. quirinicus sp. n., from the Sierra Madre mountain range in Quirino province, Luzon Island, Philippines. Figures of male habitus, elytral apical third profile, genitalia, and a map showing the type locality are given for the new species. A determination key to the 3 species belonging to Platyebaeus is also provided.
