This paper discusses techniques for integrating risk and multi-criteria analysis in electricity distribution system asset management. The focus is on the tasks of the distribution company asset managers whose challenge is to incorporate the different company objectives and risk analysis into a structured decision framework when deciding how to handle the company physical assets.
