PURPOSE: This technical note describes the application of the Hydrologie Evaluation of Leachate Production and Quality (HELPQ) computer program, which facilitates the design of confined disposal facilities (CDFs) for contaminated dredged material by estimating leachate production rates and leachate quality. HELPQ is part of the Automated Dredging and Disposal Alternatives Modeling System (ADDAMS).
