The apparently weak properties of a qualitative algebra have lead some to conclude that we must turn instead to extra-mathematical properties of physical systems . We propose instead that a more powerful qualitative algebra is needed, one that merges the algebras on signs and reals . We have invented a hybrid algebra, called Q1, allows us to select abstractions intermediate between traditional ...
We focus on inverse kinematics applications in computer graphics and robotics based on Conformal Geometric Algebra. Here, geometric objects like spheres and circles that are often needed in inverse kinematics algorithms are simply represented by algebraic objects. We present algorithms for the inverse kinematics of a human arm like kinematic chain and for the grasping of robots and virtual huma...
The handling of unstructured data in database management system is very difficult. The managing unstructured data like image, video textual data etc. are not easy task in database system. In this work a concept of cloud algebra introduced to handle unstructured data in CDBMS. The most popular concept, relational algebra is used in relational database management system. The relational algebra is...
It is shown that the deformed Heisenberg algebra involving the reflection operator R (Rdeformed Heisenberg algebra) has finite-dimensional representations which are equivalent to representations of paragrassmann algebra with a special differentiation operator. Guon-like form of the algebra, related to the generalized statistics, is found. Some applications of revealed representations of the R-d...
Let a ⊕ b = max(a, b), a ⊗ b = a + b for a, b ∈ R := R ∪ {−∞}. By max-algebra we understand the analogue of linear algebra developed for the pair of operations (⊕,⊗) extended to matrices and vectors. Max-algebra, which has been studied for more than 40 years, is an attractive way of describing a class of nonlinear problems appearing for instance in machinescheduling, information technology and ...
For a Banach algebra $A$, $A''$ is $(-1)$-Weakly amenable if $A'$ is a Banach $A''$-bimodule and $H^1(A'',A')={0}$. In this paper, among other things, we study the relationships between the $(-1)$-Weakly amenability of $A''$ and the weak amenability of $A''$ or $A$. Moreover, we show that the second dual of every $C^ast$-algebra is $(-1)$-Weakly amenable.
In this paper we review the concepts of the superalgebra, superderivation and some properties of them. We will define algebraic and differential superderivations on a superalgebra and will prove some theorems about them, Then we consider a superalgebra bundle, that is an algebra bundle which its fibers are superalgebras and then characterize the superderivations of the algebra of sections of th...
Let A be a Banach algebra. A is called ideally amenable if for every closed ideal I of A, the first cohomology group of A with coefficients in I* is trivial. We investigate the closed ideals I for which H1 (A,I* )={0}, whenever A is weakly amenable or a biflat Banach algebra. Also we give some hereditary properties of ideal amenability.
A universal algorithm is given for computing a root of an arbitrary polynomial with complex coefficients in a number of operations dependent only on the order n and relative error e. This paper is a brief English exposition of the author's earlier "Algebrai egyenletek kó'zelito megoldásáról," Vol. XVIII of the Communications of the III Class of tne Hungarian Academy of Sciences (1968), pp. 223—...
It is known that the adjoint representation of any Kac-Moody algebra A can be identified with a subquotient of a certain Fock space representation constructed from the root lattice of A. I define a product on the whole of the Fock space that restricts to the Lie algebra product on this subquotient. This product (together with a infinite number of other products) is constructed using a generaliz...
