The aim of this research was to investigate the validity of the Krieger–Dougherty model as a quantitative model to predict the viscosity of mortar depending on various aggregate sizes. The Krieger–Dougherty model reportedly predicted the viscosity of a suspension, which includes cement-based materials. Concrete or mortar incorporates natural resources, such as sand and gravel, referred to as ag...

Aggregation is an important temporal property of soil structure that is affected by intrinsic soil properties and also soil use and management. Aggregate stability has a strong influence on many processes in soil such as infiltration, aeration, strength, erosion, and soil’s ability to transmit liquids, solutes, gases, and heat. In this study, undisturbed soil specimens from 0-10 and 10-20 cm de...

The prices of aggregate are increasing in India due to the massive demand for natural infrastructure development. An attempt has been made check feasibility past developed technique developing angular-shaped light-weight fly ash coarse from three different types ashes. In this study, effects binder content, water content and hot bath curing temperature on compressive strength blocks, as well im...

Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) and Polypropylene (PP) is mostly used materials for making items like water bottles, food containers many other plastic products in all fields of life. Due to the scarcity natural aggregates concrete, it required go alternative material, this type one replacement fine aggregate concrete. An objective paper study feasibility recycled PET PP waste be as a building...

Using recycled aggregate in concrete is one of the best ways to reduce construction pollution and prevent exploitation natural resources provide needed aggregate. However, aggregates affect mechanical properties concrete, but existing information on subject less than what industry needs. Compressive strength, other hand, most important property concrete. Therefore, having predictive models requ...

1- INTRODUCTION Nowadays, environmental aspects of soil erosion are specifically considered by researchers. In this regard, secondary (aggregate) particle size distribution (SPSD) is so important in different issues such as nutrient loss, pollutant transport and carbon cycle. Aggregate size distribution is known as the representative of soil structure, which is by itself regarded as a dynami...

This paper presents a new approach to evaluating the aggregate literacy level in a country or region. The resulting ‘effective literacy’ measure takes into account the intrahousehold externality arising from the presence of a literate member. A simple and natural axiomatic characterization is provided along with an empirical illustration using Indian data.

In this paper we present the extension of the copula approach to ag-gregation functions. In fact we want to focus on a class of aggregation functions and present them in the multi linear form with marginal copu-lae. Moreover we will define also the joint aggregation density function.

On average, higher levels of such investments raise production by increasing the productivity of the labor force. While the significance of shortterm changes in business investment is less widely recognized, the importance of such changes for the business cycle has been known to economists since the beginning of the last century. For example, many believe that the current record expansion has b...
