We consider nonlinear integral equations of Fredholm and Volterra type with respect to functions having values in L-spaces. Such class of equations includes set-valued integral equations, fuzzy integral equations and many others. We prove theorems of existence and uniqueness of the solutions for such equations and investigate data dependence of their solutions.

Integral and integro-differential equations are one of the most useful mathematical tools in both pure and applied mathematics. In this article, we present a variational iteration method for solving Fredholm integro-differential equations. This study provides an analytical approximation to determine the behavior of the solution. To show the efficiency of the present method for our proble...

This paper studies various types of input/output representations for nonlinear continuous time systems. The algebraic and analytic i/o equations studied in previous papers by the authors are generalized to integral and integro-differential equations, and an abstract notion is also considered. New results are given on generic observability, and these results are then applied to give conditions u...

In this study, the existence and uniqueness of the solution of a class of nonlinear finite-part singular integral equations with Carleman shift preserving orientation has been investigated in the generalized Holder space () Γ ϕ H. 1. Introduction Many important problems of engineering mechanics like elasticity, plasticity, and fracture mechanics and aerodynamics can be reduced to the solution o...

Nonlinear cross-correlation equations in finite and semi-infinite intervals are studied by means of Fourier transform and Cauchy integral techniques. The equations are reduced to a bilinear conjugacy problem for two analytic functions on the real axis which can be solved in explicit form. In particular, Engibaryan’s equations from nonlinear factorization theory of Wiener-Hopf integral equations...

We analyze a certain class of integral equations associated with Marchenko equations and Gel’fand-Levitan equations. Such integral equations arise through a Fourier transformation on various ordinary differential equations involving a spectral parameter. When the integral operator is perturbed by a finite-rank perturbation, we explicitly evaluate the change in the solution in terms of the unper...

Biomass estimation is critical for looking at ecosystem processes and as a measure of stand yield. The density-integral approach allows for coincident estimation of stem profile and biomass. The algebraic difference approach (ADA) permits the derivation of dynamic or nonstatic functions. In this study we applied the ADA to develop a self-referencing specific gravity function and biomass functio...

The attracting set of dynamical systems have been extensively studied over the past few decades and various results are reported. It is well known that one of the most researching tools is inequality technique. With the establishment of various differential and integral inequalities 1–12 , the sufficient conditions on the attracting sets for different differential systems are obtained 12–16 . H...
