In this paper, we give definitions for common limit in the range property of mappings and obtain common fixed point theorem for a pair of weakly compatible functions in intuitionistic fuzzy metric space using the joint common limit in the range property of mappings(shortly, (JCLR) property). Our results improve and generalize results of Chauhan et al[1].
We introduce public spending, financed through income taxation, in the Ramsey model with heterogeneous agents. Public spending as a source of welfare generates more complex dynamics. In contrast to previous contributions focusing on similar models but with wasteful public spending, limit cycles through Hopf bifurcation and expectation-driven fluctuations appear if the degree of capital-labor su...
In this paper, we prove a common fixed point theorem for a pair of weakly compatible mappings in fuzzy metric space using the joint common limit in the range property of mappings called (JCLR) property. An example is also furnished which demonstrates the validity of main result. We also extend our main result to two finite families of self mappings. Our results improve and generalize results of...
In this paper, we obtain a fixed point theorem for weakly compatible mappings by altering distances between the points via contractive condition in D-metric spaces. Our work include the results of Bansal, Chugh and Kumar [1], Veerapandi and Chandersekher Rao [14], and Dhage [4]. An example is given at the end to prove the validity of the theorem.
In this paper, we introduce the concept of ∈chainable intuitionistic fuzzy metric space akin to the notion of ∈chainable fuzzy metric space, introduced by Cho, and Jung [6] and prove a common fixed point theorem for weakly compatible mappings in this newly defined space.
Cho et al. [2] introduced the notion of semicompatible maps in a d-topological space. They define a pair of self-maps (S,T) to be semicompatible if conditions (i) Sy = Ty implies that STy = TSy; (ii) for sequence {xn} in X and x ∈ X , whenever {Sxn} → x,{Txn} → x, then STxn → Tx, as n→∞, hold. However, in Fuzzy metric space (ii) implies (i), taking xn = y for all n and x = Ty = Sy. So, we defin...
A general common fixed point theorem for two pairs of weakly compatible self mappings proved in compact metric spaces employing a slightly modified implicit relation which generalizes almost all existing relevant common fixed point theorems. Some related results are also derived besides furnishing illustrative examples. AMS subject classifications: 47H10, 54H25
A common fixed point theorem using EA-property for four weakly compatible maps is obtained in the setting of Gmetric spaces without exploiting the notion of continuity. Our results generalize the results of Abbas and Rhoades[7], and Manro et. al.[11]. Moreover, we show that these maps satisfy property R. Applications to certain intergral equations and functional equations are also obtained.
In this paper first, we introduce the notions of subcompatible mappings and occasionally weakly compatible mappings in multiplicative metric spaces analogue to these notions introduced in metric spaces. Also, we prove common fixed point theorems for these mappings. Mathematics Subject Classification: 47H10, 54H25
By means of weakening conditions of the gauge function φ and the CLRg property, some common fixed point theorems are established in fuzzy metric spaces. The two mappings considered here are assumed to be weakly compatible. Our results extend and improve very recent theorems in the related literature. c ©2016 All rights reserved.
