Detect breast cancer in early stages, ensure a comfortable and cheap diagnostics in order to reduce women mortality, are the challenges of this paper. A compact ultra wideband (UWB) Planar antenna for Microwave thermography system is designed and simulated using two commercial software, CST Microwave Studio and HFSS simulators.

This paper examines basic crossed-field device physics in a planar configuration, specifically electron beam perturbation and instability as function of variation magnetic field, angle between electric field. We perform three-dimensional (3-D) simulation system using the full 3-D particle trajectory solver CST Particle Studio (CST-PS). The structure has length, height, width anode-sole gap 15 c...

The paper presents the design of patch antenna that can operate on a triple band 2.4GHz, 4.6GHz, 5.5GHz. The shape of the patch resembles an English alphabet `E`. Two parallel slots are incorporated to get the shape of ‘E’ and the dimensions were optimized using CST Microwave Studio EM Simulator. Different parameters like return loss, VSWR, Radiation pattern in 3D are presented.

V-band Klystrons find applications in satellite communications and 5G technology. Here, we present a Klystron using radial re-entrant square cavities (RRSCs). The RRSCs are easy to fabricate, assemble, align, tune the operating frequency, which significant concerns V-band. We have optimized number of gap for best possible gain bandwidth. eigenmode particle-in-cell (PIC) simulation results CST m...

The paper describes the design and the experimental verification of three types of wideband antennas. Attention is turned to the bow-tie antenna, the Vivaldi antenna and the spiral antenna designed for the operation at millimeter waves. Bandwidth, input impedance, gain, and directivity pattern are the investigated parameters. Antennas are compared considering computer simulations in CST Microwa...

Abstract—In this paper, the interaction of a planar inverted-F antennas array, mounted on a mobile handset, with a human hand-head phantom is investigated in the 1.9GHz band. The hybrid approach involving the particle swarm optimization (PSO) and Nelder-Mead (NM) algorithm is considered to optimize the complex excitations of the adaptive array elements in a mutual coupling environment for diffe...

Helical antennas have been widely used in a various useful applications, due to their low weight and low profile conformability, easy and cheap realization. Radiation properties of this antenna are examined both theoretically and experimentally. In this paper, an attempt has been made to investigate new helical antenna structure for Applications. CST MWS Software is used for the simulation and ...

This paper presents enclosure effect comprehensive by 3D electromagnetic modeling, simulation and measurement of active MMIC with package/housing. When put inside a test box or package with a cavity, MMIC shows significant deviation from it RF On Wafer (RFOW) measurement data. Cavity resonance‟s adverse effects were analyzed by eigen mode solver using CST Microwave Studio and RFOW measurement a...

In this work it is shown that one of the most employed filtering systems for use in continuous-flow industrial microwave ovens, namely doubly corrugated filters, does not work properly for many values of the electric permittivity of the processed material when it is partially filled. Thus, a novel bandstop filter which solves these inconveniences, based on a combination of metallic irises and d...

This paper will summarized the different size of opening width and length of the slot flare Vivaldi Antenna. The different size of opening width and length will bring effects on the VSWR and S11. The Vivaldi Antenna is designed to cover from 2 to 18 GHz by using the CST Microwave Studio Software. Then these antennas are constructed using RT/Duroid 5870 which have dielectric constant r 2.33. T...
