農業における環境保全や食品安全のための手段である農業生産工程管理（GAP）を導入した農家による作物生産の環境負荷を、ケーススタディに基づくシナリオを用いた LCA により評価し、慣行農法のものと比較した。 GAP を実施する農家はいずれも投入肥料について工夫が見られ、露地栽培とハウス栽培のそれぞれについて、気候変動と富栄養化の 2 つの影響領域で慣行と比較して環境負荷が低減した。肥料の工夫と負荷の低減の直接的な因果関係は見られなかったが、気候変動影響に関しては農薬散布や石灰といった他の投入が削減されることによる間接的な効果が示唆された。また富栄養化についてはリン酸の過剰施肥の傾向がある慣行農法に対し、それぞれが独自の施肥設計を行っている 実施農業で負荷の改善効果が見られた。ハウス栽培の環境負荷は露地と比較して大きくなったが、暖房を実施していない本研究の事例ではその差は主に被覆資材の製...
