objectives: an effective safety management requires paying attention to human factors. one of the most important methods for achievement to accident prevention is using safety climate or safety culture. moreover, some studies suggest that in most organizations behavior contributes to 86-96% of all injuries. this cross-sectional study was performed on the functional units’ workers of khuzestan p...

This paper examines the use of type-safe linguistic reeection in Haskell, a functional language. Several uses are identiied: providing an extensible system of instance derivation; extending derivation beyond type classes and providing a method for polytypic programming. A preprocessor for Haskell is presented that performs compile-time reeection upon type declarations in source code.

Most robot programming takes place in the “time domain.” That is, the goal is to specify the behavior of a system that is acquiring a continual temporal stream of inputs, and is required to provide a continual, temporal stream of outputs. We present a reactive programming language, based on the Functional Reactive Programming paradigm, for specifying such behavior. The major attributes of this ...

In this paper we present an elegant method for sequentializing arbitrary data using the generic language extension of the functional programming language Clean. We show how the proposed operations can be used to store values of any concrete data type in several kinds of IO containers (such as files or arrays of characters), and how to manipulate stored data efficiently. Moreover, by extending s...

FC++ is a library for programming functionally in C++. Compared to other C++ functional programming libraries, FC++ is distinguished by its powerful type system which allows manipulating parametrically polymorphic functions (e.g., passing them as arguments to other functions and returning them as results). In this paper, we show how FC++ can be used in common OO programming tasks. We demonstrat...

We have developed a hybrid system safety prover, implemented in Coq using the abstraction method introduced by [2]. The development includes: a formalisation of the structure of hybrid systems; a framework for the construction of an abstract system (consisting of decidable “over-estimators” of abstract transitions and initiality) faithfully representing a concrete hybrid system; a translation o...

This work proposes a dependent type theory that combines functions and session-typed processes (with value dependencies) through a contextual monad, internalising typed processes in a dependently-typed lambda-calculus. The proposed framework, by allowing session processes to depend on functions and vice-versa, enables us to specify and statically verify protocols where the choice of the next co...
