Cost efficiency (CE) evaluates the ability to produce current outputs at minimal cost, given its input prices. In ordinary CE model, the input prices are assumed to be definite. In recent years, various attempts have been made to measuring CE when the input prices are as trapezoidal fuzzy numbers. The main contribution of this paper is to provide a new approach for generalizing the CE of decisi...

Evaluation of efficiency of each of the DMUs (Decision Making Units) in a company is a very important task. Thus, the studies of evaluation of efficiency are being actively carried out, based on production function. Until quite recently, the loglinear production function (the Cobb-Douglas function) has been used for evaluation purposes. The loglinear model evaluates the DMUs by measuring the av...

In this article, two-person zero-sum games are investigated in the fuzzy environment. Several models constructed by Maeda in the symmetrical fuzzy environment are extended to the models in the asymmetric fuzzy environment. The existence of equilibrium strategies for these extended models is proposed in the asymmetric fuzzy environment. However, in some cases, Nash equilibrium strategies may not...

We describe a new technique for landmark-based self-localization which is suitable for robots with poor odom-etry. This technique uses fuzzy logic to account for errors and imprecision in visual recognition, and for extreme uncertainty in the estimate of the robot's motion. It only requires an approximate model of the sensor system and a qualitative estimate of the robot's displacement , and it...

In this paper a notion of symmetry of a fuzzy set with a nite support is introduced which takes into account both the intralevel symme try and the interlevel symmetry It is shown that the ranked distribution of the relative level cardinalities of a set with the minimal index of symmetry is close to a Pareto distri bution An estimation of the maximal num ber of fuzzy elements of a fuzzy set with...

In a stochastic and fuzzy environment, a multi-objective fuzzy stopping problem is discussed. The randomness and fuzziness are evaluated by probabilistic expectations and scalarization functions respectively. Pareto optimal fuzzy stopping times are given under the assumption of regularity for stopping rules, by using λ-optimal stopping times.

Abstract— In this paper, a new extended method of multi criteria decision making based on fuzzy-Topsis theory is introduced. fuzzy mcdm algorithm for determining the best choice among all possible choices when the data are fuzzy is also presented. Using a new index leads to procedure for choosing fuzzy ideal and negative ideal solutions directly from the fuzzy data observed alternatives.in this...

Abstract: The radial measures of classical DEA models (CCR, BCC) are incomplete, they are only separate measures of input and output efficiency and their efficiency index omit the non-zero input and output slacks. Enhanced Russell graph measure (ERM) eliminates these deficiencies. All of the existing fuzzy DEA models are extension of CCR or BCC model, efficiencies of DMUs, ultimately, are solut...

This paper presents a fuzzy multi-objective approach for achieving the minimum active power loss and the maximum voltage magnitude in order to improve the efficiency of radial distribution networks with distributed generations. Multi-objective function are considered for load balancing among the feeders, minimization of the real power loss, deviation of nodes voltage, and branch current constra...

a‎s we know, developing mathematical models and numerical procedures that would appropriately treat and solve systems of linear equations where some of the system's parameters are proposed as fuzzy numbers is very important in fuzzy set theory. for this reason, many researchers have used various numerical methods to solve fuzzy linear systems. in this paper, we define the concepts of midpoint a...
