Usable implementations of fuzzy relational database systems are very rare considering the long time of research on the subject. The existing solutions are usually either obsolete or related to a specific application. The research group that authors belong to aims at producing a general system capable of using priority fuzzy logic with databases. The system consists of a fuzzy extension of a rel...

Expression and processing of vagueness, which has many real world applications, is not handled effectively in the conventional relational model. In this paper we investigate a fuzzy extension to the relational data model and propose three fuzzy relational query languages. ‘ho of them are the Level-l Fuzzy Relational Algebra and Level-l Fmzy Relational Calculus. They are fundamental query langua...

The join dependency provides the basis for obtaining lossless join decomposition in a classical relational schema. The existence of Join dependency shows that that the tables always represent the correct data after being joined. Since the classical relational databases cannot handle imprecise data, they were extended to fuzzy relational databases so that uncertain, ambiguous, imprecise and part...

Neutrosophy is a new branch of philosophy that studies the origin, nature, and scope of neutralities, as well as their interactions with different ideational spectra. Aim of this article is to find the maximum and minimum solution of the fuzzy neutrosophic soft relational equations xA=b and Ax=b, where x and b are fuzzy neutrosophic soft vector and A is a fuzzy neutrosophic soft matrix. Wheneve...

In the literature, some studies have shown that determining the consistency of bipolar fuzzy relational equations is NP-complete. Namely, the solution procedure for solving a system of bipolar fuzzy relational equations with max-product composition contains a high computational complexity. In this study, some sufficient conditions for consistency of bipolar fuzzy relational equations are propos...

This paper comprises two parts, the first deals with the conception of a class of Hybrid Granular Min-Max Fuzzy-Neuro Relational Learners, for which a learning scheme was devised that uses an exhaustive search over the fuzzy partitions of involved variables, automatic fuzzy hypotheses generation, formulation and testing, and successive approximation procedure of Min-Max relational equations. Th...

In this paper we consider fuzzy relations compatible with algebraic operations, which are called fuzzy relational morphisms. In particular, we aim our attention to those fuzzy relational morphisms which are uniform fuzzy relations, called uniform fuzzy relational morphisms, and those which are partially uniform F -functions, called fuzzy homomorphisms. Both uniform fuzzy relations and partially...

In this paper we show that the problem of minimizing a nonlinear objective function subject to a system of fuzzy relational equations with max-min composition can be reduced to a 0-1 mixed integer programming problem. The reduction method can be extended to the case of fuzzy relational equations with max-T composition as well as those with more general composition.
