We employ the Borsuk-Krasnoselskii antipodal theorem to prove a new fixed point theorem in ordered Banach spaces. Then, the applicability of the result is shown by presenting sufficient conditions for the existence of solutions to initial value problems for first-order difference equations in Banach spaces. To prove that result we shall employ set valued analysis techniques.

In this article, we investigate the existence of positive periodic solutions for a class of non-autonomous difference equations. Using the Krasnoselskii fixed point theorem, we establish sufficient criteria that are easily verifiable and that generalize and improve related studies in the literature. Numerical simulations are presented which support our theoretical results for some concrete models.
In this paper, a pair of generalized nonlinear mappings are introduced. Sufficient conditions for the existence of common fixed points for a pair of generalized nonlinear mappings in convex metric spaces are obtained and Krasnoselskii type iterations are used to approximate common fixed points.
