There exist planar graphs in which any two vertices are missed by some longest cycle. Although this requirement is very strong, we prove here that such graphs can also be found as subgraphs of the square and hexagonal lattices. Considering (finite) such lattices on the torus and on the Möbius strip enables us to reduce the order of our examples. Introduction Do we have small (if possible minima...

Introduction. The property of the Petersen graph of being hypohamiltonian is notorious, and known for a long time. The existence of hypotraceable graphs, on the contrary, was discovered much later. Before that, in 1966, Gallai [1] had asked the easier question whether (connected) graphs do exist such that each vertex is missed by some longest path. Such graphs have been discovered by Walther in...

The purpose of this paper is to establish a strong convergence of an explicit iteration scheme with mean errors to a common fixed point for a finite family of Ćirić quasi-contractive operators in normed spaces. The results presented in this paper generalize and improve the corresponding results of V.Berinde [1], A.Rafiq [9], B. E. Rhoades [10] and T. Zamfirescu [12].

This paper is devoted to prove the S. L. Singh’s common fixed point Theorem for commuting mappings in cone metric spaces. In this framework, we introduce the notions of generalized Kannan contraction, generalized Zamfirescu contraction and generalized Weak contraction for a pair of mappings, proving afterward fixed point results.

A result on bi-shadowing for continuous single-valued contractions satisfying certain conditions has been given by AlBadarneh (2015). In this paper, we continue the discussion of asymptotic properties of trajectories for mappings belonging to more subclasses of almost contractions. In particular, we prove that Zamfirescu Mappings, QuasiContractions, Generalised Contractions, and Hardy-Rogers Co...

We show that if K is a nilpotent finite complex, then ΩK can be built from spheres using fibrations and homotopy (inverse) limits. This is applied to show that if map∗(X,S ) is weakly contractible for all n, then map ∗ (X,K) is weakly contractible for any nilpotent finite complex K . We consider weakly coupled analytic expanding circle maps on the lattice Z d (for d 1), with small coupling strength and coupling between two sites decaying exponentially with the distance. We study the spectrum of the associated (Perron-Frobenius) transfer operators. We give a Fr echet space on which the operator associated to the full system has a simple eigenvalue at 1 (corresponding to the ...

Recent years have witnessed the rapid development of concept map generation techniques due to their advantages in providing well-structured summarization knowledge from free texts. Traditional unsupervised methods do not generate task-oriented maps, whereas deep generative models require large amounts training data. In this work, we present GT-D2G (Graph Translation-based Document To Graph), an...
