Cognitive Radio (CR) is promising technique for access of spectrum resources. The sensors deployed vast environmental area are in need of hundreds to thousands of sensor nodes which is mostly energy constrained and their batteries are not rechargeable in most Wireless Sensor Networks applications. A Cognitive Radio Sensor Network (CRSN) is defined as wireless sensor network equipped with cognit...
This paper reviews recent work on spread spectrum network capacity. The network is shown to have a capacity that is equitably shared amongst the users via power control. This solution is much simpler than the bandwidth partitioning of the FDMA/reuse approach. The capacity gains from using spread spectrum, arising from the averaging and multiplexing, are also emphasised.
The rapidly developed wireless services and applications have an increasing demand of spectrum resource, which is actually limited. Therefore, how to allocate spectrum resource effectively for network throughput improvement is an urgent issue. Although the utilization of spectrum can be enhanced by link scheduling for spatial reuse, Network Coding (NC) for broadcast transmission, multicast tran...
Due to the growing demand of wireless spectrum the Cognitive Radio (CR) is used for the spectrum utilization purpose. Basically the Licensed users use the licensed bands but with the help of CR technology, the licensed bands can also be provided to see users. The main aim of cognitive radio is to sense the spectrum continuously. In this paper, we provide theproposal that how the capacity of the...

The increasing interest for wireless communication services and scarcity of radio spectrum resources have created the need for a more flexible and efficient usage of the radio frequency bands. Cognitive Radio (CR) emerges as an important trend for a solution to this problem. Spectrum sensing is a crucial function in a CR system. Cooperative spectrum sensing can overcome fading and shadowing eff...
Under the current system of spectrum allocation, spectral bands are allocated for time-scales ranging from years to decades and spatial scales ranging from counties to continents. Robust operation of devices is enabled by the use of guard bands in space and frequency. This paradigm has resulted in vastly underutilized spectrum bands, even in urban locales. However, advances in wireless technolo...
This paper proposes a new framework for spectrum reuse. Existing architectures have centered on secondary users (cognitive radios) that can reliably sense primary users and opportunistically transmit, without directly interacting with the primary system. We argue that a paradigm in which the primary and secondary systems cooperate can result in reduced interference to primary users and more pre...
Due to the recent spectrum scarcity challenges, a cognitive radio approach has been proposed to opportunistically reuse the allocated spectrum for efficiency purposes. Different from cognitive radio, which is non-collaborative in general, we propose a spatial spectrum access architecture for reusing the spectrum allocated to standard commercial wireless systems, such as GPRS, in which the secon...
code reuse attacks such as return oriented programming and jump oriented programming become the most popular exploitation methods among attackers. a large number of practical and non-practical defenses have been proposed that differ in their overhead, the source code requirement, detection rate and implementation dependencies. however, a usual aspect among them is to consider the common behavio...
