Quality attribute workshops (QAW) provide a method for evaluating the architecture of a software-intensive system during the acquisition phase of major programs. The architecture is evaluated against a number of critical quality attributes, such as availability, performance, security, interoperability, and modifiability. The evaluation is based on test cases that capture questions and concerns ...

The quality of software is achieved during its development. Development teams use various techniques to investigate, evaluate and control potential quality problems in their systems. These “Quality Attribute Techniques” target specific product qualities such as safety or security. This paper proposes a framework to capture important characteristics of these techniques. The framework is intended...

This practice will identify and prioritize the software attributes. Attributes are the quality characteristics of the software being tested. They are independent of the functional aspects, and primarily relate to the architectural structural aspects of a system. Attribute testing is complex and often avoided because it requires innovative testing techniques. However, many of the dissatisfaction...

a significant problem in multicarrier communication systems is the necessity to reduce the value of papr (peak-to-average power ratio) of transmitting signal. in this thesis we study the effect of the system parameters such as coding and modulation types on papr and ultimate ber in a mc-cdma system. in this study we consider fading channel as well as the nonlinearity of transmitter’s amplifier ...

In contrast to the "designer logic" approach, this paper shows how the attribute-value feature s t ruc tures of uni f ica t ion g r a m m a r and constraints on them can be axiomatized in classical first-order logic, which can express disjunctive and negative constraints. Because only quantifier-free formulae are used in the axiomatization, the satisfiability problem is NPcomplete.

Quality control plays an important role in increasing the product quality. Fuzzy control charts are more sensitive than Shewhart control chart. Hence, the correct use of fuzzy control chart leads to producing better-quality products. This area is complex because it involves a large scope of industries, and information is not well organized. In this research, we provide a literature review of th...
