Paradoxical embolization of venous thrombus into the abdominal aortic bifurcation has been diagnosed by means of aortography. Lower limb phlebothrombosis accounting for the embolus formation has been demonstrated by phlebography. Arterial embolectomy and venous thrombectomy were successfully performed.
