One of the most important research topics about complex networks
is examination their vulnerability. Therefore, there are many studies
in literature analyzing robustness and reliability using graph theoretical parameters. Among these parameters, centrality
parameters play an role. The closeness its derivatives
widely discussed. In this study, parameter more sensitive

In this paper, we present and compare various centrality measures for graphbased keyphrase extraction. Through experiments carried out on three standard datasets of different languages and domains, we show that simple degree centrality achieve results comparable to the widely used TextRank algorithm, and that closeness centrality obtains the best results on short documents.
In the US House and Senate, each piece of legislation is sponsored by a unique legislator. In addition, legislators can publicly express support for a piece of legislation by cosponsoring it. The network of sponsors and cosponsors provides information about the underlying social networks among legislators. I use a number of statistics to describe the cosponsorship network in order to show that ...
Large igneous provinces (LIPs) form in both oceanic and continental settings by the emplacement and eruption of voluminous magmas ranging from basalt to rhyolite in composition. Continental flood basalt provinces are the best studied LIPs and consist of crustal intrusive systems, extensive flood lavas and ignimbrites, and mafic volcaniclastic deposits in varying proportions. Intrusive rocks are...
We investigate the correlation between the information theoretic measure of empowerment and the graph theoretic measure of closeness centrality, to better understand the structural conditions that must exist in a world for learning and adaptation. We examine both measures in both a simple gridworld scenario, represented as a graph, and on a scale-free graph. We show a strong correlation between...
Have you ever wondered what God’s inner emotional life might be like? Within Christian thought, there are conflicting answers to this question. The majority of theologians throughout history have said that God cannot moved by creatures feel anything. does not literally empathy, mercy, or compassion. Instead, only feels pure undisturbed happiness. This view is called divine impassibility. In the...
Edwards (1942), in a broad chemical and mineralogical study of dolerites in Tasmania, found variations in composition within the sills and dykes examined. He attributed these chang>es to fractional crystallization and gravitative differentiation in the cooling magma of the sills, similar to that which is postulated to have occurred in the Skaergaard intrusion of East Greenland and the Palisade ...
