This demo illustrates WS-GEN, a tool supporting the automated composition of web services. WS-GEN takes as input the description of a set of available services and a “business requirement” describing the goal of the composed service, and automatically generates the executable code implementing the new composed service.
PEWS is a language for the implementation of web service interfaces. PEWS programs can be used for the description of both individual and composed web services. Individual web services can be built up from Java programs. Composed web services are built from simpler services. PEWS operators describe the allowed workflow of the web service, i.e.the order in which the operations of the web service...
Telecommunication companies are struggling to provide their users with value-added services. These services are expected to be context-aware, attentive and personalized. Since it is not economically feasible to build services separately by hand for each individual user, service providers are searching for alternatives to automate service creation. The IST-SPICE project aims at developing a plat...
Service-oriented architectures (SOA) and, in particular, Web Services designs are widely adopted for the development of interoperable systems. In a dynamic scenario, a composed service may exploit component services in order to complete its task; composed services are variously distributed, and offered by different providers in different security domains and under different load conditions. So,...
In this paper we present a new type of multivariate GARCH model which we call the composed MGARCH and factor composed MGARCH models. We show sufficient conditions for the covariance stationarity of these processes and proof of the invariance of the models under linear combinations, an important property for factor modeling. Furthermore, we introduce an α-stable version of these models and fit a...
Changing telecommunications market trends calls for the evolution of service creation and delivery by network operators. They need to maximize on any available form of revenue creation to avoid becoming “bit-pipes” and can achieve this by creating interfaces for 3rd party service and content providers to offer applications and services to their users. Composing and bundling of these services wi...
A Web services are proliferated because of its massive support and uses in the industries and research areas. Usages of the web services are unavoidable in the software industry for its reusability and interoperability. For more reusability, web services are integrated together to form the composition. Hence the compositions of web services are widely done and getting benefit from it. Various m...
This paper discusses the notion of “core bio-inspired services” low-level services providing basic bio-inspired mechanisms, such as evaporation, aggregation or spreading shared by higher-level services or applications. Design patterns descriptions of self-organising mechanisms, such as gossip, morphogenesis, or foraging, show that these higherlevel mechanisms are composed of basic bio-inspired ...
entrepreneurship in the world, especially in western developed countries, the much interest in recent years the concept of entrepreneurial ecosystems and integrating the separation of infrastructure services needed by entrepreneurs and governments innovative citizens, industrialists and entrepreneurs to create. a person apart from the idea of an entrepreneur, long way to run and deliver it to t...
Dependencies among the tasks performed by web services affect how the web services are composed. We propose an approach to managing dependencies among tasks in order to support web services composition. We define BT-DML, a markup language to express dependencies. We describe a prototype system called web services manager (WSM) that implements this language to support various tasks in web servic...
